LUOGO – ACQUA – CASA

Sono tornata in luoghi alla ricerca di legami, memorie e sensazioni da ricollegare al presente. Nata e vissuta fino a 4 anni in Argentina mi trovo a ritracciare dei cammini.

Un viaggio, un pellegrinare in terre così lontane ma emotivamente così vicine.

Una ricerca che culmina mettendo piede nel santuario de la Defunta Correa, un grande centro energetico nel deserto, luogo dove sacro e profano si abbracciano, dove i devoti portano bottiglie d’acqua con la richiesta che non venga mai loro meno e dove viene chiesta la protezione del focolare.

I return in places to the search of ties, memories and feelings to reconnect to the present. Born and lived until 4 years old in Argentina I find myself retracing ways.

A travel, a pilgrimage in lands so far away but therefore emotionally  so near.

A search that culminates entering in the Defunta Correa’s shrine, a great energetic center in the middle of the desert.,a  place where sacred and profane embrace themselves, where the devout people use to carry water bottles with the demand that never come they less and where they ask the protection for their own house.

In Vallesito (San Juan) there is the “main”shrine  but there are shrines to her all over the country on the sides of roads and highways. These usually look like small garbage dumps as everyone brings her water bottles to quench her thirst.
